Some people share this meaning with wide modern clothes, with board from last collection, cool bindings and probably some sort of tricks.
Bullshit!

In real snowboarder mixed all the coolness, as you ride like, and as you look like. Feeling that goes round in your head, especially at fall, when all waits for the snowy-miracle.
When you watch some kind of snowboarders videos, you like doing all these moves with rider.

How pure he has made this trick, you proud of him, and upset, when something goes wrong. In your imagination you taking part of X-Games with rider, and sharing golden medal with him (or her, cause girls ride ok).
You just waiting for snow to ride yourself!

Once my friend told me, if you want to try a new trick, just close your eyes and put it in your imagination, like slide show. Do it many times, if you need, than go to the park and try to repeat it. But don’t waist a lot of time at the top of the mountain, just ride.
Cause if you stand there and think…Oh, maybe I will fall….sure you will!
Just concentrate on your bord, concentrate on yourself.

Some people, who just started their snowboarding life and don’t know how to turn, already go to kickers, thinking they are cool.
They fall and break (they are lucky if it was just board was breaking), and when I was told - that you don’t need to jump from 1st to 9th class.
It’s stupid, try to learn some basics of riding….they answer - “It don’t worth it”.
So, what I can tell…
Snowboarder – it’s not a rock of muscles, which jump like bunny, it’s a great machine of tomorrow Olympic challenge!

If you are just newby, or you riding not for medals, only for yourself, for fun, for spending time with your friends. So, work hard and spend 2 weeks in mountains, once a year. Enjoy every second of riding. Learning things. No problems, just you and your board!

I’ll never become a pro-rider (maybe next life), but I try to do my best, to be proud of myself at the end of every season. Even, if I’m riding in my home country Estonia, and we don’t have real mountains.

Just use your imagination and ride!!!
